Suggestion Scheme


Objective

Opulent believes that all employees are important source of information to improve the company operations and performance in a holistic manner by involving the day-to-day processes.


This policy is set to encourage employees to share their valuable ideas and suggestions to enhance processes & products, improving working environment, and at the same time helping the company to reduce cost while achieving company objectives.



Scope

This covers all mployees of Opulent in Malaysia and other interests parties.



Term / Definitions

Suggestor refers to person who submit the suggestion form.


Other interested parties referring to any of the individual or organizations who may be affected by Opulent operations.



Responsibilities

  1. Employees and other interested parties who observe or believe they have valuable ideas and suggestions to enhance & improve company processes & products should submit their suggestions to HR Dept.

  2. HR personnel is responsible to ensure the consistency of application through all necessary stage and to respond on the suggestions.



Procedure of Making a Disclosure


Submission Channel

Employee and other interested party may submit their suggestion through ANY of the following channel:-


  1. Complete and drop the Suggestion Form into the box available at Canteen or Lobby.

  2. Online submission through web form or scan QR code on Notice Board or Responsible Business Alliance Policy (RBA) Badge.


Content of the Suggestor
  1. Any suggestion made herein should contain the following information:


  1. Name of the Suggestor

    Anonymous suggestion may be accepted, provided the information on

    issue and solution is sufficient for subsequent evaluation. However, the discretion on processing shall be reserved by HR department.

  2. Description of Issue / Problem.

  3. Suggested Solutions / Actions.


  1. Upon receiving suggestion form, HR to acknowledge receipt in writing, where possible, within 5 working days.

  2. If necessary, HR to discuss with the Suggestor on the suggestion made for further clarification.

  3. HR to review the eligibility of the suggestion and work with involved

    department to consider recommended solution.

  4. In collaboration with respective department, HR to report the issue/problem raised and propose recommended solutions for Top Management consideration.

  5. Following are the suggestions that will not be considered in this scheme:-


    1. Suggestions that propose changes to salaries, benefits or employment classifications.

    2. Suggestions that duplicate another suggestion under consideration or already been implemented.

    3. Suggestions that pertain to complaints or grievances, open or closed.

    4. Suggestions that do not include a solution or plan for improvement.

    5. Suggestions that result from assigned audits, surveys, reviews or research.

    6. Suggestions that are already enforced by existing laws or regulations.

    7. Suggestions that would normally be expected in the performance of the employee's job or those that the employee can implement without higher-level approval.
